Event Details
Immediately following an update from Office of Special Education, Michigan Department of Education, special education leaders from MAISA SEILN and MAASE will share strategies for staffing with a focus on how to attract, prepare and retain special educators. They will highlight the “Addressing the Staff Shortage: A Guidebook for Special Education Administrators”, a document of practical strategies co-created by the two organizations. Wrapping up the day will be the June General Membership Meeting and closing with Developing Leaders.
