Use Self-Checkout

This is an overview of the Use Self-Checkout task.
When the user starts the module, they will find themselves in the self-checkout section of the grocery store. The game will then task them with using the self-checkout machine to pay for their groceries. While they play through the module, the game will track their progress and grade their performance based on the specified task analysis and grading criteria.
When the user believes they have successfully completed their task, they will be presented with the end screen with a report card showing all passed and failed criteria.

  1. Scan grocery items and place them into the bag.
  2. Look up produce on the self-checkout screen.
  3. Select the bananas.
  4. Weigh bananas and place them into the bag.
  5. Select "Finish and Pay" on the self-checkout screen.
  6. Insert the card into the card scanner.
  7. Remove the card.

How to Play

This module uses one touch to interact with the environment and complete the activity.

 Mouse Button  Action
 Left-click  Interact with interactable objects.
 Pick up items.
 Select menu/user interface options.
