Early Childhood Community of Practice

About

The Early Childhood Community of Practice unites supervisors of Early On (birth to age 3) and Early Childhood Special Education from across Michigan, working together to elevate early childhood services. Our mission? To collaborate, share evidence-based practices, and refine service delivery models to better serve our youngest learners.

Recent initiatives have focused on key areas such as enhancing Early On Systems, promoting Preschool Inclusion, refining staff evaluation practices, building partnerships with GSRP and Head Start, and ensuring compliance with early childhood indicators B7 and B12. With a dedicated Early Childhood strand at MAASE and the Summer Institute, we’re continually evolving to meet the ever-changing needs of our members. If you’re passionate about shaping the future of early childhood education, this is the place to be!
