Apply Now for Inaugural Jeff Butler Scholarships

The application period for the first Jeff Butler Scholarships is open through September 15th! Funding for this award comes from all contributions to the Summer Institute raffle, so we'd like to thank all who participated. The two recipients will be announced at the October General Membership Meeting.

Scholarship Details:

The MAASE Foundation will award two $1,000 scholarships in memory of Jeff Butler, supporting professional learning for new special education administrators. Eligible applicants are MAASE members in their first or second year in their initial administrative role.

How to Apply:

Submit an application at the link here demonstrating:

• Need for funding and a plan for its use
• Embodiment of key characteristics: ethics, leadership, collegiality, passion, civil rights advocacy, perseverance, service, and lifelong learning

Include a supervisor’s support letter and two letters of recommendation.
