The D/HH CoP includes administrators (supervisors and/or directors) who oversee any aspect of working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students. This includes administrators who might work with one teacher consultant or one interpreter, to those who supervise Deaf Education programs. The greatest intent of this program is to support administrators who deal with a low-incidence population which may not be their area of expertise. In order to better deliver services to D/HH students statewide, it is critical for administrators to connect and network with other professionals – therefore, being connected to this CoP is crucial.
