Enhancement Pack C - For Students with Complex Behavior Needs

$100 per set.  Includes 1 set of Activity Cards as well as Facilitator Guide for each of the activities. (Each set accommodates up to 5 paraeducators in a group.  If trainers are training 30 paraeducators, they would need to order 6 of these).

Enhancement Pack C is designed to complement the MAASE Paraeducator Bootcamp Training, equipping paraeducators with the knowledge and tools necessary to support students with the most complex behavioral needs. These students often require intensive interventions, structured support, and individualized accommodations to succeed in educational settings. The activity cards included in this pack provide paraeducators with strategies to create an engaging, safe, and supportive learning environment while fostering independence and self-regulation.

These students:

• Have IEPs that outline specialized supports and services to meet their unique needs.
• May experience severe behavioral challenges related to emotional regulation, executive functioning deficits, or trauma.
• Often receive instruction in more restrictive settings, such as self-contained classrooms or specialized programs, to provide the intensive support they need.
• Require a highly structured, predictable environment to reduce anxiety, increase engagement, and build positive behavioral patterns.
• May communicate their needs through behavior, making it essential for paraeducators to understand behavior as a form of communication.
  
• Benefit from individualized behavioral supports, including behavior intervention plans (BIPs), sensory integration strategies, and positive behavior reinforcement techniques.
