Enhancement Pack E - For Individuals in Transition Centers (Ages 18-26)

$100 per set.  Includes 1 set of Activity Cards as well as Facilitator Guide for each of the activities. (Each set accommodates up to 5 paraeducators in a group.  If trainers are training 30 paraeducators, they would need to order 6 of these).

The Enhancement Pack E activity cards are designed to complement the MAASE Paraeducator Bootcamp Training, equipping paraeducators with practical strategies to support students aged 18-26 in transition centers. These programs focus on independent living skills, job attainment, and job retention to ensure students with IEPs develop essential skills for successful post-secondary outcomes.

These students:
✅ May be neurodiverse or have intellectual, developmental, or multiple disabilities.
✅ Are at a critical transition stage, where real-world training and structured support are essential for long-term independence.
✅ Come from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, influencing their unique pathways to adulthood.
✅ May use alternative communication methods such as sign language, picture-based communication, or speech-generating devices to navigate the workplace and community settings.
✅ Require adaptive tools, assistive technology, and task-specific accommodations to build employability, social, and independent living skills.
✅ Benefit from structured routines, visual schedules, workplace simulations, and hands-on learning experiences to enhance self-determination and job readiness.
✅ Bring a wide range of strengths and aspirations, contributing to a meaningful, person-centered approach to training and employment.

The activity cards provide equitable access to real-world, functional learning experiences by utilizing task-specific strategies, structured engagement techniques, and visual supports to affirm the diverse skills, strengths, and identities of transition-aged students.
