Enhancement Pack F - For Students Who Are Deaf and Hard of Hearing

$100 per set.  Includes 1 set of Activity Cards as well as Facilitator Guide for each of the activities. (Each set accommodates up to 5 paraeducators in a group.  If trainers are training 30 paraeducators, they would need to order 6 of these).

Enhancement Pack F is designed to complement the MAASE Paraeducator Bootcamp Training, providing paraeducators with the tools and strategies to support students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH). These activity cards focus on fostering inclusive, communicatively accessible, and affirming environments.

These students:

✅ May use American Sign Language (ASL), spoken language, cued speech, or other forms of visual/manual communication.

✅ Require consistent access to communication supports, including interpreters, captioning, and visual aids.

✅ May benefit from amplification systems such as hearing aids, cochlear implants, or FM/DM systems.

✅ Often rely on visual supports, structured routines, and clear, direct communication.

✅ Thrive in environments that recognize and respect Deaf culture and identity.

✅ Benefit from paraeducators who understand their unique communication modes and are trained in strategies that support auditory access and engagement.
